Take care of neuropathy

Bill had always taken care of himself. But he didn’t really take care of neuropathy.

Sure, he did his best to eat right, get daily exercise, and visit his doctor regularly.   He followed the food pyramid, avoided red meat, ate low fat, and always tried to get his vegetables.   And still, he developed type 2 diabetes as he went into his 50’s.

He took the drugs they prescribed and ate the “Diabetic diet guidelines.” Things got worse.   Then he developed the numb, tingling, burning pain of neuropathy. His doctor started him with pain relievers and then moved to Gabapentin and Lyrica.   His feet continued to get worse.

In spite of everything he did to take care of neuropathy his balance left him afraid of falling, and he bought a cane.

Fool me once

When I first met him and told him he could heal his neuropathy, he looked at me like I had two heads. “Really?” He asked. “My doc told me it’s progressive.”

I told him that it was true; if you don’t do anything to stop it, it’s progressive.   The drugs, the diabetic diet, the methods we use to hide the pain of neuropathy don’t stop it. They hide it and allow it to progress.

But like most health issues the answer lies in uncovering the cause.

If you know the cause of the problem then it can be dealt with. Once you know why your faucet is leaking, then you know what needs to be done to fix it. If you know why your car is leaking oil, then you know how to get it fixed.

If you understand why you are losing sensation in your feet, then you know what needs to be done.

What needs to be done

That’s why I’ve spent the past decade helping people stop further damage and heal. First we work to correct the cause of neuropathy, then we can work to heal it.

Be warned though – this method is quite simple, but it’s not for everyone. If you are unwilling to make any changes to how you eat or live, then this is not going to be the answer for you.

Tired of watching your neuropathy worsen, and steal away the things you love? Perhaps it’s time for a change of direction.

It’s time to take care of neuropathy before it takes care of you.
